Nantenaina Herizo Rakotomalala is a researcher and grass taxonomist in Kew Madagascar Conservation Centre, local office of Royal Botanic Gardens Kew in Madagascar, since 2019. She is specialized in Madagascar grass ID, plant redlisting, and in botanic illustration. She received her MSc degree in Botany: Systematic and Sustainable use of Plant Diversity at the Department of Plant Biology and Ecology. Now, she is working on her research with Doctor Maria Vorontsova on the project 'Grasses and Grassland of Madagascar'.

Mihajamalala A. Andriamanohera is a Kew Madagascar newest botanist. She gets her MSC degree in Ecology and Biology from Antananarivo University. She works on the MSB Madagascar Project funded by Garfield Weston (and previously the People Postcodes Lottery, UK ) She is developing a skillset in taxonomy, field data collecting and databasing. She is also fully involved in IUCN Red List Assessments Project funded by CEPF.

Cédrique Solofondranohatra is a fourth-year PhD student in Plant Ecology at the University of Antananarivo. Her research is focused on understanding the functional ecology of Madagascar’s grasslands, using landscape survey and experimental work. Her work has been published in Frontiers in Ecology and Evolution, and she is currently completing her PhD.
